Fused & Kiln-formed Glass…

My fused and kiln-formed glass are created during multiple firings in an electic using layers of compatible Bullseye sheet glass and glass frits and powders to create depth and pattern in the glass. Various techniques are utilized to create textures and patterns reminiencent of those found in the natural world.

Once the blank has been formed and annealed, edges are fininshed and the piece is typically slumped at low temperature into a mold or kiln cast at a higher temperature into a textured mold to create the desired surface.

Each piece reflects the individual results of the multiple firings and reactions of the various sheets, powders and frits.
